Private Events and Parties
Private tours
A one hour private, guided tour of the insectarium. Ask the experts, hold some bugs, play with the microscope, toys, games, books, and more!
$20 per person, maximum 7 people. For more than 7 people, see party rentals below. Note that our booking program doesn't allow multiple tickets, so if multiple people are attending, the remainder will be due on the day of the private tour.
Classroom field trips and parties
We can accommodate up to 20 people total, which must include at least 2 adult chaperones. $200 for first hour, $50 for each subsequent hour. $50 deposit to hold the date. We can provide tables, seating, table cloths, activities, and bugs. Food and drinks to be provided by you.
Must be booked at least 2 weeks ahead.
Currently we can only host outside of our business hours, Wed-Sun 12-6pm.
Due to many requests, we are now taking on some remote events. Since we don't have a vehicle, we either need transportation provided or an additional $50 fee to pay for transportation. Please email for more information info@pdxinsectarium.org
