Arachnophobia

Are you afraid of spiders? Do you want to face your fear? We are offering a series of classes designed to introduce spiders slowly and safely in a controlled environment. All ages. Class 1: Introduction. In the first class we will look at photos and videos of spiders and you will learn the basic biology and anatomy of spiders. We will dispel some myths, answer questions, and play with toys and games. $12 Class 2: Exploration. Next we will view live spiders inside terrariums, examine preserved specimens under the microscope, and touch molted exoskeletons of tarantulas. $12 Class 3: Interaction. In the last class, you will observe spider feedings, our staff handling spiders outside of terrariums, and if you're comfortable, touching and holding a live tarantula! $18 You can take any or all of the classes, $38 for all three. Space is very limited! |
Arachnophilia
Did you want to take the Arachnophobia class, but you love spiders? Do you want to learn more about them? Take this class and learn everything from anatomy to taxonomy to behavior. Interact with a variety of tarantulas and spiders. All ages.
